Synnøve grew up in Helgeland, lives and works in Stavanger. Synnøve mainly is working with acrylic and monotype and she had her debut in 2001 with a solo exhibition at Folken, Stavanger.
Her works have been shown at various galleries in Norway and abroad as Museo de Arte in Mazatlan, Mexico, the Stone Metal Press Exhibitions, San Antonio, Texas, USA and Museo Ethnografico, Portugal. Her last exhibition was in Hermetikken, Stavanger 2016.
Her work is inspired by nature, tension, nuances, variation and mental aspect of life and produces images on the basis of experience and feelings.
